Amazing isolation sheild love it
I bought this product to enhance my audio quality on my YouTube channel and product reviews. It is the perfect size for a Blue Yeti that sits on top of a desk/table. I have yet to mount my blue yeti. Maybe in the near future. The metal is thin, but high quality. My audio sounds cleaner and crisper. The audio I am sure is determined also by the mic quality and other accessories you might have to insulate audio. I only use a pop-filter and now the shield. It is easy to expand the shield and store away. The insulation is thick and does a great job of absorbing audio. Overall, I am very impressed by the quality, design, and value of the microphone shield.

I’m recording in a less than ideal room and this microphone shield helped reduce reflected noise from the walls. It’s not going to soundproof a space but it does cut down on some types of sound, and it did make a difference. It’s fairly easy to set up and take down, and seems durable.

Helped us get remove echo for our youtube videos
Our use case was a bit different; we boom our mic from the top for our youtube videos. And the issue was that we were getting echo in voice. When we mounted the mic under this tool it was able to remove all echo ( like 95% ) and now the audio is clean and sound way better. If you don’t want to invest in echo proofing the whole room then booming the mic with this tool might be the perfect way to get echo free audio.
